High Intensity UV/Visible Light-Curing Spot Lamps

Dymax UV light spot cure units typically cure UV and visible light-curable adhesives and coatings in 1 to 10 seconds. These UV light-curing units are ideal for R&D laboratory environments as well as low- and high-volume production applications in medical, industrial, electronics, automotive, and optical industries.

Dymax UV spot-curing units can be supplied with a wide variety of standard or customized light delivery choices. Lightguide options available from Dymax include various diameters (3 mm, 5 mm, and 8 mm), various lengths (1 meter is standard) to 6 meters, liquid or fiber, and single or multi-furcated configurations.

Dymax LED spot-curing systems generate curing energy using high-intensity LEDs instead of conventional metal-halide or mercury-arc lamps. The relatively narrow frequency band of energy emitted by LEDs results in cooler substrate temperatures compared to traditional UV-style lamp systems, making them ideal for curing thermally sensitive materials. Dymax LED-curing systems offer many energy and cost-saving benefits, such as no warm-up period, lower energy consumption, no bulbs to change, and more consistent frequency and intensity output for better process control.
