Commerce Secretary Names Greg Bachmann as Member of Manufacturing Council
Greg Bachmann, President and CEO of Torrington, CT-based DYMAX Corporation, is among 24 manufacturing leaders appointed to the 2010 Manufacturing Council by U.S. Commerce Secretary Gary Locke. The Council advises the Secretary on matters relating to the competitiveness of the manufacturing sector, and government policies and programs that affect U.S. manufacturers. Read more...
The Connecticut Quality Improvement Award, Inc., recognizes Connecticut manufacturing and service companies that excel in managing quality improvement for business success and growth. Criteria for the award are based on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for Performance Excellence. The CQIA Innovation Prize is designed to stimulate interest in organizations to implement quality while fostering recognition of innovative improvements.
