Cure catalysts may respond to longwave UV light, visible light, or both. DYMAX adhesives contain catalysts that respond to UV and visible wavelengths resulting in faster, deeper cures. This enables DYMAX adhesives to bond to clear or even UV blocked translucent plastics. DYMAX adhesives and coatings with multi-curing capabilities of heat, activator, oxygen or two-part mixing chemistry have the added advantage of curing in shadowed areas where light cannot reach the adhesive.
