News Flash! The 3000 series plastic adhesives can be cured with UV or visible light as featured in NASA Tech Briefs. Learn more about visible light curing technology.

See plastic adhesives that cure with the BlueWave® LED as featured in NASA Tech Briefs

Light curing plastic bonding adhesives cure in seconds upon exposure to ultraviolet light and visible light, even through UV-blocked plastics. These solvent-free, worker-friendly plastic adhesives from DYMAX form high-strength, environmentally resistant bonds to plastics and other substrates, including polycarbonate, PVC, phenolic, acrylic, metal, glass, and ceramic. Because DYMAX plastic adhesives bond so many different substrates, they are exceptional adhesives for bonding dissimilar materials, something that cannot be done with traditional welding methods and other types of adhesives.

Typical plastic adhesive applications include appliance assembly, automotive sub-assemblies, headlamp assembly, plastic component tacking and sealing, potting, fixturing and ruggedizing plastic housings, high-end displays and jewelry manufacturing, cosmetic household items, and aerospace vibration dampening. These plastic adhesives cure rapidly for high-speed production using either broad spectrum bulb technology or visible light LED technology.

New! 3113-UR Bond joint & sealing; plastic window bonding; appliance assembly; plastic assembly Ultra-Red™ fluorescing technology; moisture resistant; adhesion to a wide variety of substrates

New! 3169-UR Series Flexible lamination, plastic housing assembly, appliance assembly, speaker assembly Ultra-Red™ fluorescing technology; low and high viscosities available; adhesion to a wide variety of plastics; flexible

3220-SC Series Bonding and laminating plastics including PVC, PC, ABS, PET, PEBA, and PU See-Cure adhesives appear blue when dispensed and become clear when fully cured. This allows users to know where the adhesive has been applied, as well as if the adhesive is fully cured; flexible

3221-SC Bonding and laminating plastics including PMMA, PVC, PC, PU, PA, PET, and ABS See-Cure adhesives appear blue when dispensed and become clear when fully cured. This allows users to know where the adhesive has been applied, as well as if the adhesive is fully cured; flexible; multi-substrate adhesion

3222-SC Appliance assembly; plastics lamination; metal-to-plastic bonding; bond joint & sealing; plastic window bonding See-Cure adhesives appear blue when dispensed and become clear when fully cured. This allows users to know where the adhesive has been applied, as well as if the adhesive is fully cured; flexible; multi-substrate adhesion

3224-SC Industrial plastics bonding; film laminating; strain relief; connectors and hoses See-Cure adhesives appear blue when dispensed and become clear when fully cured. This allows users to know where the adhesive has been applied, as well as if the adhesive is fully cured; very flexible; low shrinkage

3013 Series Bonding transparent or translucent acrylic, metal, polycarbonate, PVC alloys, ABS, polyurethane, and polystyrene Resilient; general purpose; low viscosity; moisture resistant; flexible; dispenses easily and cures quickly for precise quantity and placement of adhesive; built-in fluorescence provides a method to ensure in-line quality control utilizing optical scanners

3025 Bonding polycarbonate, flexible, and rigid PVC, ABS, acrylic, and stainless steel Moisture resistant; solvent free; rapid cures; low viscosity

3069 Series Electrical bonding; potting; wire harness assembly; bonds to polycarbonate, PVC, polyurethane, PET Low stress; clear; environmentally resistant; adheres to most surfaces; good for flexible and rigid substrates

3072

Recommended for use with the BlueWave® LED
Electrical potting and sealing; bonds to PBT, Valox®, metal, glass, PVC, PS and K-Resin® UV/Visible light curing; dispenses easily to allow for precise quantity and placement of adhesive; bonds generally exceed the strength of substrates bonded, including PVC alloys, which resist most other bonding methods;
Recommended for use with the BlueWave® LED

3094 Series Sign assembly; household appliance assembly; laminating plastic sheets; packaging; bonds to acrylic, ABS, styrene, polycarbonate, polyurethane Dispenses easily and cures quickly for precise quantity and placement of adhesive; bonds generally exceed the strength of substrates bonded, including PVC alloys, which resist most other bonding methods

3099 Series

Recommended for use with the BlueWave® LED
Bonding clear and translucent acrylic, polycarbonate, PVC alloys, and polyurethane Resilient adhesive with excellent adhesion to acrylic; clear, low-viscosity, light-cured adhesive produces clear, bubble-free bondlines; Recommended for use with the BlueWave® LED
