Adhesives for D.C. Motor, Electric and Power Generation
Make quieter motors with assembly adhesives that cure
with both activator and UV light. DYMAX resins are easy to integrate into automated application processes and
are ideal for DC motor assembly, tab sealing, coil terminating, strain relief, wire tacking, core bonding and balancing and
unitizing armature windings. Their fast fixture rate makes them excellent for bonding, ruggedizing, sealing, shallow potting and tacking. |

The 600 series resins form tough, durable bonds to metal, glass and other substrates. Structural bond strength develops to
500 psi in seconds, with ultimate bond strengths to 3,500 psi, between opaque surfaces with activator. They have better durability than tapes, cyanoacrylates, solvent activated adhesives, hot melts and epoxies. These acrylic acid-free products
are non-corrosive, non-flammable and suitable for harsh environments. |

|
Case History:
A hot melt used for a flange sealing process was stringy, resulting in excessive down time for maintenance and rework. A DYMAX light curing sealant maintained
constant viscosity during in-plant temperature variations, dispensed easily and consistently and ended a time consuming assembly process. |
