DYMAX shutters were developed as an auxiliary device to use with DYMAX flood lamp systems. Shutters are a recommended safety feature to prevent operator exposure to ultraviolet and visible light when lifting shields while systems are operating. Shutters are used to control the dose of radiant energy directed onto parts. Objects needing curing may be loaded and unloaded from underneath the shutter when it is shut, without exposing operators to radiant energy. In addition, control of curing times can be achieved by timed shutter operation.
