UV/Visible Light Curable Coatings

Adhesive coatings are used to cover the surface of substrates or components to protect them from destructive or environmental agents. Coatings can also be used to provide a decorative cover.

DYMAX manufactures UV/Visible light curing conformal coatings to protect printed circuit boards. The conformal coating is applied to electronic circuitry to act as protection against moisture, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes that if uncoated (non-protected) could result in a complete failure of the electronic system. DYMAX conformal coatings are available in IPC approved, MIL-I-46058C, and UL listed self-extinguishing grades.

UV light curable, crystal-clear dome and decorative coatings cure in seconds upon exposure to ultraviolet light. The instant UV light cure feature of one-part DYMAX UV curable dome coatings "locks out" airborne contamination and achieves consistent viscosity results producing fewer rejects and less scrap. UV curable dome coatings and decorative coatings contain no solvents, toxic Mercury, or isocyanates and are ideal for coating labels, badges, name tags, pens, key chains, decals, and novelties.
