7127-G: Ultra Light-Weld® Chemical Milling and Harsh Environment Processing Green Maskant |
| SpeedMask® 7127-G
UV/Visible light curable masking resin is formulated to provide excellent surface protection during most anodizing, chemical milling, plating, and aggressive grit-blasting operations. 7127-G can be used as an aid in the manufacturing of orthopaedic implants and implant hardware, surgical instruments, and medical devices. This temporary UV/Visible light curable maskant is impervious to most acid and alkali solutions. This 100% organic resin cures quickly and is easily removed after processing. A hot-water soak may be used to ease removal. When properly cured, 7127-G leaves no residue on the surface. After curing, 7127-G can be trimmed to provide defined edge boundaries and accomodate the most complex and intricate components while still providing excellent protection with no leakage.
SpeedMask 7127-G protects component substrates such as titanium, cobalt, nickel alloys, steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
