SpeedMask® 7126 UV/Visible light curable masking resin is formulated to provide excellent surface protection during many plating, anodizing, and powder-coating processes. 7126 aids in the manufacturing of orthopaedic implants and implant hardware, surgical instruments, and medical devices. SpeedMask 7126 also has the ability to remain flexible at higher temperature processes up to 200°C [400°F].
SpeedMask 7126 protects component substrates such as titanium, cobalt, nickel alloys, stainless steel, steel, and aluminum. This resin cures quickly and is easily removed after processing. A hot-water soak may be used to ease removal. When properly cured, 7126 leaves no residue on the surface.
