7113-Gel: Light Weld®
Water-Soluble Temporary Maskant |
SpeedMask® 7113-Gel UV light curable masking resin is formulated to provide good surface protection during many shot-peening, grit-blasting, and dry-polishing processes. 7113-Gel aids in the manufacturing of orthopaedic implants and implant hardware, surgical instruments, and medical devices.
SpeedMask 7113-Gel protects component substrates such as titanium, cobalt, steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. This 100% organic resin cures quickly and is easily removed with hot, agitated water. When properly dissolved, 7113-Gel leaves no residue on the surface. A minimum hot-water bath temperature of 60°C [150°F] should be used to dissolve.
