Model 475 Dispensing Systems are Engineered for Optimal Performance and Long Service Life
Dymax Model 475 dispensing systems utilize a pneumatic, normally closed diaphragm valve to accurately dispense low- to high-viscosity fluids. The design of the internal diaphragm and adjacent parts prevents migration of fluid into the actuating section within the valve. The toughness of the diaphragm, along with the selection of appropriate materials for component construction, ensures long diaphragm and valve life between maintenance schedules. These features also make these valve systems ideal for dispensing light-curable materials as well as reactive materials such as cyanoacrylates, anaerobics, and solvent-based products. Read more… |

Highly Visible, Green Masking Resin Offers Excellent Surface Protection from Aggressive Chemical Processes
SpeedMask® 728-G UV/Visible light-curable masking resin is formulated to provide good surface protection during plating, anodizing, aggressive grit blasting, shot peening, and machining operations. 728-G protects component substrates such as nickel alloys, steel, titanium, stainless steel, aluminum, and glass, and aids in the manufacturing, overhaul, repair, and rework of turbine engine blades, vanes, and other turbine components.
This formulation is a 100% organic resin and is green in color for optimum visibility. 728-G cures quickly and is easy to remove after a hot-water soak. When properly cured, 728-G leaves no residue on the substrate surface after removal. Read more… |

Versatile Hand-Held Spray Gun Systems Simplify Manual Spraying Process
SG-100 hand-held spray gun systems, available in both standard- and high-flow models, provide a solution for manually spraying materials for masking and coating applications. These systems are able to dispense from pressurized cartridges, bottles, and pails, making them compatible with most standard fluid packages and delivery systems. Their lightweight assembly with low trigger resistance allows for hours of effortless spraying, and the easy adjustment of material flow and spray atomization results in greater dispensing accuracy with less material waste. TECH TIP
| Q: |
"Dymax curing equipment can be outfitted with several different types of bulbs. How do I choose the right bulb for my application?” |
| A: |
Metal halide bulbs (lamps) come standard in Dymax UV light-curing systems to match the cure chemistry of most high-performance UV-curable acrylate and cationic epoxy adhesives and coatings. Other bulbs offered include Mercury bulbs and visible indium bulbs. For curing UV inks and some (usually very thin layer) UV coatings, Mercury bulbs provide better surface cures faster. For applications where visible light is predominantly required for curing bonds between UV-blocking plastics, visible indium or “V” bulbs are best. The best approach to selecting a bulb would be to speak with a Dymax Application Engineer. With a little information about your application, an Application Engineer would be able to select the most efficient bulb for your application. View bulb selection flyer… |
