UV-Curable Optically Clear Hard Coatings for Plastic Substrates

UV-curable optically clear hard coatings are engineered for superior scratch, abrasion, and chemical resistance providing increased protection that results in extended film life. These coatings offer excellent transparency and low haze characteristics, maintaining optical clarity over time for better performance and aesthetics. Dymax optically clear coatings are used in applications requiring 2 to 12 microns in thickness on various film substrates such as TAC, PET, PC, and PMMA. These optical coatings are formulated to cure with Dymax's broad-spectrum UV light curing equipment.

Optically clear hard coatings for plastics are typically used in the manufacture of electronic touch-panels, polarized sunglasses, safety glasses and goggles, and LCD polarized displays.
