Cost Accountant

Position Summary: Accountable for ongoing cost analysis which includes validating and monitoring costing information to provide an appropriate level of internal and external reporting. Duties entail but not limited to making journal entries, accruals, variance and cost analysis and reconciling general ledger accounts. Prepares and coordinates the company’s financial reports in accordance with US GAAP. Close books for the month and year for Dymax and Bomar.
  • Accountable for ongoing cost analysis which includes validating and monitoring costing information to provide an appropriate level of internal and external reporting.
  • Update standard costs, validate cost of goods sold and review inventory variances. Analyzes and communicates the causes of significant variances from standards cost. Identifies, Recommends and Implements corrective actions.
  • Identifies process weaknesses (from a control or efficiency standpoint) and develops recommendations for improvement. Performs ad hoc analyses and work with operating personnel to identify product cost issues and opportunities.
  • Generate monthly Operations departmental expense reports, documenting and analyzing variances.
  • Prepare all necessary financial reports and general ledger account reconciliations for subsidiary accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Assist in the coordination of annual audit and budget.
  • Coordinates annual physical inventory process.
  • Various projects upon request as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience/Skills:
Experience handling general accounting/cost accounting responsibilities in a manufacturing environment and 4 year degree in accounting or equivalent. 4 year degree in accounting or equivalent and manufacturing experience preferred. To perform this job successfully an individual must have a firm knowledge of Excel, JD Edwards, and Quickbooks.

Quality Assurance Technician, Equipment

Position Summary: Responsible for performing final tests and inspections necessary to ensure quality of manufacturing/serviced products. Assists in the calibration of customer owned radiometers.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform final test and inspection on manufactured and repaired equipment per final test inspection procedures, including test history data creation.
  • Identify and isolate non-conforming product and materials. Initiate Material Discrepancy Reports, In-Process Finding Reports, and Engineering Change Requests as required for problem resolution.
  • Perform incoming tests and inspections on materials received, as back up to the QC Inspector.
  • Assist Equipment Manufacturing with troubleshooting problem devices.
  • Operate inspection tools and equipment with knowledge of all safety requirements.
  • Perform equipment repair and service as back up to the Equipments Service Technician.
  • Must be team oriented as well as Customer, Quality and Results driven.
  • Keeps area neat and orderly and balances the work load to meet deadlines and customer expectations.


Education/Experience/Skills:
An Associates Degree in an electronics or science discipline or equivalent through a combination of experience and continued education. Ability to use electronic and mechanical measuring instruments. In-process inspections, final inspection and documents control. Ability to work with other department personnel to maintain quality of products. Requires command of the English language both orally and written. Understanding of the mathematics appropriate to electronics calculations and to statistical calculations. Ability to work independently and to handle multiple priorities with attention to detail. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, JDE and Access is a plus.

Lead Generation Specialist

Position Summary: Receives, qualifies, and distributes all sales opportunities for the Americas. This position works with AE and the Territory Managers on the qualification process and follows up with the TM’s and/or opportunities. If leads develop, the Lead Gen will follow up on quotations in order to close the loop. The Position will close, update or delete leads and keep them updated in appropriate databases. Position is responsible for monitoring and entering data into CRM/JDE.

Project Engineer

Position Summary: Utilizing previous education/experience to coordinate the design of mechanical and electro/mechanical curing equipment and conveyors.

Primary Responsibilities: Position has responsibility for coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects. Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned engineering work; monitors work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and Dymax standards. Responsible and accountable to ensure that all assigned personnel are coordinating their activities with other project participants, and that the requirements of the PRD/Design specification are being satisfied. Schedule and monitor program activity to achieve an “on-time” result including follow-up with external suppliers to ensure timely response to action items. While on a project, the Project Engineer reports to the Department Manager, who has ultimate responsibility for both the functionality and quality of the end product. Other duties include assisting other departments with troubleshooting legacy equipment, determining solutions for engineering change orders and determining root cause for product failures and functionality problems.

Education:
AS or BS in Mechanical or Electrical engineering preferred but not necessary or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Can be stronger in either mechanical or electrical disciplines but must possess a working understanding of both.

Experience:
5-10 Years of related industry experience required.

Skills:
A solid working knowledge of industry specific software (CAD, circuit layout, analysis,…) required. Must be computer literate and able to use MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong communication skills.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversee test engineers, designers, and production personnel.

Travel:
Occasional (trade shows and local customer visits)

Product Manager - Equipment

Position Summary: The Product Manager – Equipment is responsible for a wide range of strategic and tactical areas with respect to Dymax equipment products, pricing, promotions, and sales channels. The Product Manager – Equipment is expected to interface with all areas within the Marketing group, Equipment Engineering, Equipment Operations, and all Sales functions globally.

The incumbent will manage and support global sales and marketing efforts and is expected to travel approximately 20-40% (overnight) as needed.

Primary Responsibilities: This position is global. The incumbent will coordinate with management within the three primary global regions (Americas, Europe, and Asia) on each of the responsibilities below, in addition to corporate department heads. There may be other responsibilities besides what are listed.
  • Develops and implements an annual Equipment Program, complete with program goals, objectives, activities and budget.
  • Leads assessment and documentation of global market/customer needs and trend; translates voice of Customer into success criteria for development of new products.
  • Manages product life-cycles including product introductions and obsolescence.
  • Leads assessment, documentation and dissemination of the strengths and weaknesses of program in relation to competitive programs. This includes competitive comparisons in all 4-p dimensions – product, price, promotion, and placement.
  • Recommends marketing mix elements, including pricing and channel partner initiatives, to sales and marketing management for consideration and approval.
  • Champions new product development, trials, and commercialization; ensures achievement of key customer specifications and approvals.
  • In conjunction with Marketing Communications Staff, Implements all elements of the segment’s marketing communication plan, including trade shows, editorial, internet and print advertisement, press releases, sales tools, technical papers and presentations.

Education/Experience and Skills:
  • Bachelors Degree, preferable in engineering; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years Business-to-Business technical marketing or product management experience in specialty industrial equipment, preferable at technology or manufacturing companies with an international presence; experience in light –cure equipment technology a definite plus
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and formal presentation communication skills
  • Solid computer skill, with proficiency in MS Office
